We source chemical-free grains and mill them in your city cold-pressed style to lock in nutrition and deliver fresh. How do we source our grains?
We keep sourcing simple and careful. Quality first: We pick grains for cleanliness, size, and consistency — not just price. If a batch doesn't feel right, we skip it. No random mixes: We avoid mixed open-market lots, so we know what we're milling. Tested before milling: Samples are lab-checked for safety and to ensure they work well in slow stone-milling. Right for daily cooking: Varieties chosen for soft rotis, good digestion, and everyday meals — not just technical specs. Nothing random reaches our stones. Every batch is chosen with your plate in mind.
Can I see what's being milled today?
Yes — we keep milling visible. Do you add preservatives or chemicals?
No, Mill Story products do not use added preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, bleaching agents, texture improvers, or anti-caking agents. Flours and mixes are stone-milled and packed fresh — no "atta improvers" or shelf-life boosters. Spices are ground from whole spices only, with no fillers or bulkers. Ghee and similar products are made from their core ingredients, without added flavouring or stabilisers. We rely on clean ingredients, careful processing, and proper storage — not shortcuts.
Can I visit the mill?
Yes — you're always welcome. Visit our Bengaluru mill during working hours and see the stones in action. We'll walk you through how we mill, test, and pack — everything in the open. And whenever they're in, our founders love giving the tour themselves — answering questions right at the mill floor. Just message us on WhatsApp to fix a time so we can host you properly. What payment options do you support?

When will I recive my order?
For most Mill Story app orders within our delivery zones in Bengaluru: Orders placed before 12:00 PM → usually delivered the same day, by around 7:00 PM Orders placed after 12:00 PM → usually delivered the next day, by around 7:00 PM Your exact expected delivery day and time will be shown at checkout based on your location and our batch routes. On rare days (heavy rains, maintenance, festival rush), deliveries may shift slightly — but we'll update you on WhatsApp/SMS if there's a delay.
What is your refund and replacement policy?
At Mill Story, we obsess over quality and your satisfaction. If something isn't right, we'll take care of it. If a pack is damaged, leaked, or the wrong item arrives, we'll promptly replace it or provide a refund. For quality concerns (e.g. off smell, bugs), do not use the product and message us. In addition to a refund, we may request the product back so that we can investigate the issue and take preventive measures for future. Please contact us at the earliest when you experience an issue, so that we can take quick actions, not just for you, but for others who may be experiencing that issue as well. Your trust matters — we'll always work to make it right.
How should I store Mill Story products?
A simple rule: airtight, cool, and dry. Keep products in airtight containers, away from heat and moisture. Use clean, dry spoons to avoid contamination. In very humid weather, you can refrigerate flours and mixes — just bring them back to room temperature before using, and try to finish them within a few weeks for best freshness. Wherever you store them, moisture is the enemy — that's what spoils good ingredients the fastest.
